Project Fostering and Supporting Specialized Experts in Science and Technology Policy-Related Field

Overview
- - Purpose: Fostering experts in science and technology policy by supporting installation and operation of ‘Science and Technology Policy Course’ of graduate schools systematically researching science and technology policy
- - Subject : Universities(graduate schools) that opened or are to open departments related to science and technology policy
- - Support period/size : up to 6 years (3+3 years)/within 220 million won annually per university
- - Promotion basis : Article 21 of the act on support of scientist and engineers (support regarding supply and demand program of scientist and engineer work force) Article 24 of the enforcement ordinance of the act on support of scientist and engineers
Support Details
- - Supporting the selection, evaluation, and operation of science and technology policy majors
- - Enhancing program diversity and excellence through curriculum specialization by graduate schools
- - Strengthening international cooperation through academic and manpower exchanges with relevant organizations related to science and technology policy overseas

Project Assisting Public Research Institutes with HRD Consulting

Overview
- - Purpose : To assist S&T public research institutes by establishing HRD systems and improving organizational culture
- - Target : Public institutes in the S&T field such as government-funded institutes, national and public research organizations and institutes devoted to research management
- - Methods : After conducting status analysis and consulting under the contract between KIRD and the target institution, the result report is provided and support for application and utilization
