KIRD-SPRU joint research to support S&T policy establishment
KIRD has been cooperating with Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) in the UK to investigate S&T policy system of advanced countries.
KIRD has investigated best practices in advanced countries that can give insights to the government's S&T talent policy establishment in South Korea. Through the joint study, SPRU plans to provide the government plan on S&T HRD policy and related data and materials on policy development, and share the information on how it engages in the development of policies to nurture S&T talent of the UK.
Based on the result of the joint study, KIRD intends to present and apply an exemplary model for how the government and dedicated education unit can cooperate in the development of national science and technology policy.
